Service Agreement

1) Authorization:

Hereafter, Prince George’s County Family Justice Center Foundation (PGCFJCF) will be known as the “Client” and Chike Okwara (Blue Creek Valley) will be known as the “Developer”

The above-named client is engaging Chike Okwara (Blue Creek Valley) as an independent contractor for the specific purpose of Developing a Fully Functioning Website (www. pgcfamilyjusticecenterfoundation.org).

 

2) Scope of Work:

  1. Design and Development:
  • Analyze the current website’s strengths and weaknesses.
  • Create a responsive and visually appealing design that reflects the organization’s brand identity.
  • Develop a user-friendly interface with intuitive navigation for an enhanced user experience.
  • Implement a content management system (CMS) for easy content updates.
  1. Content Strategy:
  • Develop a content strategy that focuses on conveying the organization’s message clearly.
  • Integrate multimedia elements for a dynamic and engaging user experience.
  1. Functionality:
  • Implement various modules like contact forms, event calendars, and event donation functionalities as per the organization’s requirements.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
  1. Testing:
  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix any bugs or issues.
  • Ensure the website’s performance is optimal.
  1. Training:
  • Provide as needed training for the client’s team on managing and updating the website’s content.
  1. Launch:
  • Deploy the website on the client’s hosting platform.
  • Monitor the website post-launch for any issues.

 

3) Quote Amount:

  • The total cost for the web design and development project is $1450.

 

4)  Payment Terms:

  • 50% Deposit: The client is required to pay a 50% deposit ($725) to initiate the project. Work will commence upon receipt of this deposit.
  • Final Payment: The remaining 50% ($725) will be due upon completion of the project or its agreed-upon milestones.

 

5) Project Timeline:

  • The estimated timeline for the completion of the project is four-five weeks from the date of the project commencement. This timeline may be subject to change based on project scope and client feedback.

 

6) Client Responsibilities:

  • Provide as needed timely feedback during the design and development phases.
  • Supply necessary content and multimedia elements.

 

7) Additional Services:

  • Any additional features or services requested outside the initial scope of work will be subject to additional costs, to be mutually agreed upon.
