Service Agreement

This Website Performance Optimization Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into as of February 26th 2026, by and between:

Blue Creek Valley
(“Service Provider”)

and

CMB, Inc and AmVac
(“Client”)

 

1. PROJECT OVERVIEW

Project:

Optimization of WordPress website performance through advanced caching configuration and CDN integration.

Primary Objectives:

  • Reduce server response time
  • Improve page load performance
  • Optimize image delivery
  • Enhance overall user experience

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

Service Provider agrees to perform the following services in accordance with the attached Technical Specifications document provided by Client

PHASE 1 – PREPARATION

  • Analysis of current website configuration
  • Full website backup prior to implementation
  • Selection and configuration of required tools

PHASE 2 – WORDPRESS CACHING CONFIGURATION

2.1 Multi-Level Caching Implementation

  • Page caching configuration (4-hour homepage TTL, 8-hour internal pages)
  • Automatic cache purge upon content updates
  • Object caching via Redis or Memcached
  • Database query caching
  • Browser caching configuration (CSS/JS 1 year, Images 6 months, Fonts 1 year)
  • Static file versioning
  • HTML/CSS/JS minification
  • CSS/JS concatenation
  • Deferred/async JavaScript loading
  • Gzip compression
  • ETag configuration
  • Nginx/Apache server caching configuration

2.2 Performance Targets

  • Target TTFB under 200ms
  • Target Google PageSpeed score 90+ (where feasible given hosting and theme constraints)

PHASE 3 – CDN INTEGRATION & IMAGE OPTIMIZATION

3.1 CDN Configuration

  • Selection and setup of CDN provider (Cloudflare, BunnyCDN, CloudFront, or equivalent)
  • SSL configuration
  • CDN zone configuration

3.2 WordPress Integration

  • Plugin configuration (WP Offload Media or equivalent)
  • Automatic upload of new media to CDN
  • Migration of existing media library
  • URL rewriting to CDN paths
  • HTTPS enforcement

3.3 Image Optimization

  • Lossless compression
  • Resize to max width 1920px
  • WebP implementation with fallback
  • Lazy loading
  • Adaptive image support
  • Hotlink protection
  • TTL configuration (1 month for images)

PHASE 4 – TESTING & DOCUMENTATION

  • Performance testing
  • Error monitoring setup
  • Google Analytics integration (if not already active)
  • Logging configuration
  • Technical documentation
  • Administrator instructions
  • Recommendations for ongoing support

3. COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Client confirms:

  • WordPress version 5.8+
  • PHP 7.4+
  • Hosting environment allows Redis/Memcached installation (if required)
  • Sufficient server permissions are granted

4. PROJECT TIMELINE

Estimated completion time: Up to 30 business days from project start date, contingent upon:

  • Timely access to hosting/server
  • Prompt responses to technical questions
  • No unexpected hosting limitations

5. FEES & PAYMENT TERMS

Project Fee: $2,800

Payment Terms:

50% due prior to project start

50% due upon completion

Work will commence once initial payment has been received.

6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Client agrees to:

  • Provide full server/hosting access
  • Provide CDN account access (or approve creation)
  • Provide domain/DNS access
  • Approve technical recommendations promptly

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Service Provider is not responsible for:

  • Hosting provider limitations
  • Third-party plugin conflicts beyond reasonable remediation
  • Performance limitations caused by server hardware
  • Google algorithm changes
  • Security breaches caused by compromised credentials
  • Performance scores are target benchmarks and cannot be absolutely guaranteed due to third-party variables.

8. CHANGE ORDERS

Any work outside the defined scope will require a written change order and additional fees.

9. TERMINATION

Either party may terminate with written notice.
Client remains responsible for payment for all work completed up to termination date.

10. ACCEPTANCE

Each Party acknowledges that it has read and understands this Agreement and agrees to be bound by its terms and conditions.
